Thanks RMI.

ILoveTDs, click on the link that RMI provided and then click on the "Post New Thread" at the top left of the page, also read the fine print underneath as that will explain a few things. Once you create your account make sure you set up your profile. Now you have your own "Members Account Talk" Thread. Good Luck.

ILoveTD's, First let's get you a members account. I went back about 6 pages and didn't see one. Could have missed it though. The above information needs to be in your account not in the "members introduction" area. I like your concept and it can be shared with more members in your own account. But I do have a question since I am here. Do you have a program that crunches those numbers?

I created a new tab in the 'TSP Price Chart' file I got from this site and I basically just had it do the math by pulling the numbers from the data tab. I also put in a function for each fund (including the C fund out of interest) to tell me when to buy and sell. I am guessing most of us interested in following this info is familiar enough with excel to figure it out from there.
I only needed the 'average' and 'if' functions. I also had excel color in the boxes green for buy, red for sell. And I created line graphs for each fund (showing 25 and 100 day plots) to see trends.
Anywho, if you need help beyond that, let me know.

ILT, I am assuming since you publicly disclosed your method, you are ok with me sharing this info. If you aren't let me know and I will stop.
I am interested to see how your method performs. Thanks for your ideas!

Not a problem, glad to help.

I'd just like to point out for me personnally a "Sell" is moving to the F Fund not the G Fund assuming I have a IFT, but I have at least 26 years left so I can be a little more aggresive.

Right.
I'm just interested in following the C fund with your method just for the sake of knowing.
There is also really no reason to follow the G fund closely, it's pretty predictable. :worried:

Question: If your funds show buy on all three funds, do you spread out your distribution 33/33/34? Likewise, if two show buy, do you go 50/50 in those funds?

So you don't follow the F on when to buy or sell it? It's only what you fall to if S and I tell you to sell?

For me that is correct, I am hardly ever in the C or G Fund, but again I am only 31 so I have a few years left to catch up on any losses and am being a little more aggresive.

Let's move this conversation over to ILoveTD's account. This is the wrong area for exrended posts not related to new member introductions. Thanks.
