nasa1974's Account Talk

Attached are the June numbers. Sorry I'm posting them so late. Typically June is not a great month. The last year was pretty good however. I could use a good June to get me out of the hole I'm in but I'm not going to hold my breath. I just hope it doesn't look like March.

I remember June 2019 and it was a pretty good month. I think we got a nice bounce in June off of the May 2019 disaster...Not expecting a repeat though as May 2020 was pretty good.

Best to stay on your toes as things develop.

Well todays numbers in the "S" Fund got me out of the hole. I'm positive and just above my 2020 opening numbers. Another 3% I should be at my 2020 high. I still have 2 IFT's for the month so I can play it safe if I need to. Let's hope I don't have to. :D

Congrats, Nasa! You're my hero! Seriously, you pulled off what I wanted to do. Nice!

Thanks Whipsaw.
It's more luck then skill. I sure don't want to jinx anything though.
I fell from a plus 5% to a minus 31.17%. I got as low as 1206 on the tracker and currently sit at 308.
I just wish the top 5 on the tracker would pass on some of their wisdom.

Speaking of the top 5 on the tracker.
Number one currently is at 53.28%. Congrats by the way.
I wonder, what was the best #1 yearly percentage?
My best year was 33.4% (2013) and my worst 12.82% (2008).

Good luck everyone.

The best I can find is 38.64% by Remark in 2013: https://www.tsptalk.com/tracker/tally/tsp_user_balance_all_2013.php

I think/hope that today is a wave 4 pullback, with one more wave 5 surge coming to the 3300's at least.

I saw that Joanne Klein's chart #57 gave a buy signal yesterday. A little late to the party.

The trend line shown in chart #52 should hold today/tomorrow, then wave 5 can blast off after the Fed meeting.

I got to exactly +7.00% in my TSP yesterday, just a whisker below my peak for 2020 which was at +7.12% on 3/4/20, and I'm tied for #101 in the tracker (if I'd entered my IFTs on time this year, sigh).
Sure feels good, but now I have to avoid being too greedy and losing it.
