mayday you nailed it, that is one of my favorite songs ever, can't believe i didn't think to post it before. that is some bending acoustic guitar at the intro, nowadays we just have the wii with digital guitar hero. never could make my fingers go that way in time, but love it for the fact that some can do.

if you've ever lost someone real close or messed up something good so bad that you can never get it back, then i think you can't help but feel it. unfortunately, the song is indelibly linked to billy joel in my mind, a crazy ride from seattle to spokane in a blizzard, with a girl driving white knuckle fast all the the way, volume cranked up, i saw the lights and was sure it was gonna be the end. now i rarely listen to either one.

too bad her behind reminded me of my mom's, just couldn't do it anymore after that.
