You sir, are correct. What is going on with folks losing track of their 3rd IFT? How many others further down the tracker are doing this...and is there something in Tom's program that catches a bad 3rd IFT?

No. There's nothing programmed in at the moment although a warning is shown at IFT #3, legal or not. Also, I did add an indicator to manually track accounts that do make more than the allowed limit.
This will disqualify them from prizes for that month, and the annual prizes, but they can still win prizes in other months.
The question is whether to put this Scarlet letter on the standings page? Sometimes it's an oversight like a make-up IFT, and other times it's obvious abusive or misunderstanding of what's going on or the rules, etc., and I do get rid of those accounts.

All this for a coffee cup.....So tomorrow, when I move back into the market, it will show my third IFT, just warning ya....Not high enough to draw fire, but just sayin....:nuts: My first one is recorded as my "IN" Move for the year since I pulled out of the tracker last year!

It's no Stanley Cup... but what is?
A reminder to us witch hunters... As I mentioned above (I think) IFT's done on Jan 1 show as 1 IFT on the tracker but's really just how that member started the year. That's why Frixxxx's account would show 3 IFT's if he does one this week. It's only an issue with January each year.

Seriously, I don't really sift through the AT (anymore - there was a time, maybe :embarrest
, but it hits you over the head when the person is #1 on the list. I'm familiar with the setup, and understand that new members start with an IFT already. That's cool.

Burro really likes shiny things, and a coveted shiny thing was something to get excited about.
And yes, Burro gave us the idea for the "Mug Shots" page, which may not be popular with those who don't have a mug, but I really liked the idea. The winners have a chance to display their "trophy".

With one more day to go, the S-Funders have been dumped from the top 5 spots (even allowing for the new #1 to be disqual).
Personally, I am hoping for a return of the S-Funders on the last day, with a big UP day for S!!

hello, my name is burro and i'm a mugaholic.
they are really shiny and hard to resist. i have two, one for coffee and one to gaze at. i don't get out much this time of year, but am already planning my adventures with mug for the summer. i even bought extra ones to give to some of my friends.
i would highly recommend getting one. when i first unwrapped mine a tremendous feeling of investing confidence overcame me and has never left. plus, i think i heard angels singing in the background.

This isn't the official list, but here's how I see it with the tie-breaker rules:
· The top 5 are given prizes**, but we will pay up to 10 places in the event of ties. If there are still members tied after 10 places, the tie will be broken by the least number of days since your last login to the AutoTracker.

most prefer to win them but tom does/did used to sell them. i think it costs him more in time and trouble mailing them than he makes. don't forget to tip your host.
there is lots about how i came across mine in the mugshots and my account talk thread but basically it goes like this: i was smokin' the tracker last june i think, best two moves of my tsp life, but then about 20 I-funders lapped me on the last trading day. i had the 3rd highest return for the month but crossed the finish line out of the money.
i don't think the tiebreaker rules were in place then or else maybe i ignored them.
so i whined and cried and sang and danced my moneymaker until tom gave me one too out of pity or else some unspoken promise to return fair value. so then when rmi and alevin chimed in i covered their mugs too and tom shipped me one of the factory seconds. i was going to redline one hot to sensei for a mugshot at el capitan on his stateside vacation but he must have been too busy enjoying the time to worry about my fool ideas. he did send me some shisas for luck/protection and i don't know if i ever publically thanked him for it yet, so i technically still owe him. also i kind of owe boghie one too for his feedback on my time/risk strategery but i'm not done needing his expertise yet, he's really good at math.
to make a short story long... no, i don't think i 'earned' either of my mugs, but there's more than one way to skin a cat and you can't hold genius down forever, i'll get one the old fashioned way, someday. i did, however, pay for two mugs and there's four of them out there as a result, with two more on the come. it all evens out in the end.
