Mouseover Text

I think you are talking about the order in which the posts are displayed in the threads. Charmed is talking about the yellow pop-up boxes you see when you put the mouse over the thread name that contains the beginning text of the first post in a thread - rather than the last post.

I tried changing the order from old to new, to new to old, to see if that changed what shows in the yellow mouseover box, but it stilled contained the text of the 1st post.

But thanks for the suggestion.

Re: No Chat ,TSP TOM PLEASEEEEEEEE!

Is there a way to change the hover text settings on a forum to show the newest message of a thread versus the oldest? If so, EWGuy wouldn't even have to open the thread to see our allocations (assuming they'e in the first couple lines of the post). This doesn't really resolve the chat issue, but might help EW out a little.

If I'm not mistaken ... I think this option exist.

Go to the control panel and down to the section Thread display mode.

Thread Display ModeHere you can choose the display mode for threads. For a full explanation of the modes, please view this help page. Linear - Oldest First Linear - Newest First Threaded Hybrid Thread Display Mode:

Ok, you can delete this thread then - I didn't realize these boards were such a pain in the ass to tweak. I'm sure your time is better spent on other things.

According the VB fellas, the software as is, does not have that option. I can attempt to do it myself but I can't guarantee anything. If I get time I'll play with it.

Charmed855,

Pls see User CP / Display Options.

We have viewers, members, moderators, and the administrator. tsptalk takes suggestions from anyone. Believe me, they all recieve consideration. Some have lengthy discussions! Tsptalk will welcome any suggestion! Consideration will be made including appropriate discussions. In final a decision will be made...by the administrator. You have to respect it!

I make suggestions all the time! Some he likes, some he doesn't. The thing of it is I got to voice my 2 cents, along with every one else. Ultimately, I leave it to tsptalk, and march on.....;)

EWGuy is a whole nother matter. It's another world what he goes though to produce the "Tracker". In ROTC, I spent one day in the "mess hall", unbelievable what the Sargeant in command has to do! I never peeled, so damn potatoes in my life, and that was just for one day!.......:D
