Interesting, I see no "sell" in your account thread? Mis-representing the facts Greggy? You should know better than that..........................oh that's right, you're DMA's buddy.

Here's the link if you can't find your way home: http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum21/1865.html
M_M, The "I" is referring to the 50% "I-fund" that you had. You bought low and sold high; good for you.

Had to re-calculate my G fund numbers for July because I believe it will pay out lower than last month.

Now I have it paying on July 5th, July 12th, July 20th, and Aug 1st.

I'll be moving to 100% G fund this morning to get the penny.

Lost a little bit yesterday, but not a big deal. Will make it back today. What really surprises me is how much the C fund went down..........

You want to start that challenge today Greg? Do ya, huh huh?

Got that 3 cents back and then some Friday Greggy. :^

Will you be posting when I make a good move or just the bad ones? Nevermind, I think I know.

MM, your last page is acting up again. It is getting to be quite a pain. I have a suggestion. Start a new account talk. No need to start a new account thread since that is OK, just the talk thread since it has gotten so big.

Surfer, That is a good idea. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

But isn't half the fun in the journey and worth the wait? :P

Seems to be working now but I'm sure Greggy will keep an eye it.

I expected the S fund to be down today, but so far it isn't. Still early though. We should get the penny in the G fund today so no money to be made there. That is why I've decided to go 50% F, 25% S, and 25% I.

The F fund has been down lately. Even if it goes down tomorrow, doubt it would be much. Put some in the S in case it does go down today. If it stays up, I'll put more into it tomorrow and dollar cost average into it trying to hit a nice up day. Should be pretty volatile for the next few months. The "I" fund you ask? Hell if I know............:P

Good luck,

M_M

Good news is the G fund paid the penny yesterday. Bad news is it cost me 18 cents in the S fund to get it.............:(

Might get a penny or two in the F fund today. Looks like the dollar is starting to level out so I'll keep some in I fund for now. Today I'm going 50% S and 50%I.

Good luck all,

Well when all was said and done yesterday, I gained a penny in the F fund. The S and I cancelled each other out.

Looks like I'll take a big hit today with the London blasts. The important thing is that apparentlly there aren't a lot of fatalities. Although one is too many. Let's all send a blessing to our English friends.

This type of cowardly action really upsets me! :@

You seem to be the most active mover of your money in here. I have counted your transfers since you started your account April 1st. 39 IFT's in 67 trading days. This to me seems a little reckless. Are you currently up or down at this pace? I know I could cross check it all but that would be time consuming. Why not just ask you? And are you using some strategy or are you chasing? It looks very random. Like guessing.

I have read a lot of posts on here about various topics. You seem to get a bit touchy when asked about things. I am only seeking knowledge as most of us here seem to be.

Hello sugarandspice, and everything nice?

Half of those IFT's are just between the S and I stock funds so I really don't count those. My system basically tells me when to be in stocks and when not to. Although I have had trouble keeping emotion out of it. But I'm working on it. Today for instance, with the bombing in London, emotion would tell you to get out, like a lot of people are. My system hasn't told me that yet, so I'm sticking with stocks. As you probably noticed, I made an IFT from 50% S and 50% I to 100% S. My system is based on the S fund and I only go to C or I when I think they might outperform the S. Lot of my losses this year have come from playing the I fund. Just like today probably........

I'm up about 45% for the year........................just kidding! :P I'm sure fundsurfer will be coming out with his tally soon. I was consistently in the top 3 prior to the last few months. Have had a little trouble, but I'll be back.................:^

Also, I've actually been here since June 14, 2004. But that's a long story.......you can read through my thread if you have about 3 months............

Touchy? Hmmm, I think you are referring to 2 people on this forum that I don't really have any use for. Otherwise, I love everybody and they love me!!!! :u

Good luck to ya,

I know what I"m doing though. Famous last words right...................go get em Gen. Custer!!

The S fund just turned positive. :^ I'm expecting a nice day tomorrow. Of course that I fund will probably bring me down today. :U

Good luck,

It's not the pointthat is made, but rather, how it is done that seems to be the problem. Constructive criticism is often useful, but when flavored with sarcasm it becomes a bitter pill indeed. As we have discussed, when one endeavors to elevates oneself at the expense of others, they often find that the foundation they have built is tenuous at best. I encourage those who must post in other's threads to avoid expressing sentiments that lead to vitriolic exchanges. Let's be constructive and helpful :D
