i see you coming! but you ain't gonna catch me today woohoo, gonna kick in the afterburners lol

not sure how you track your % of the day, i use igoogle, i think i have you at 1.52%+ for the day, which would be 5.38% + total.

depending on the people above us that were in the 'F' not sure how much thats gonna move us up.

Hey SB, How ya been.
Seems like you've been taking a breather.

Between two threads, late updates, work, doctors and the Honey-Do List,
Yes my friend, I'm trying to stay in touch and keep up. It's not easy ya know ! :)
Good to hear from ya.

Medic and WorkFE watch your mirrors I am only 140+ behind you and catching up. But who is watching the Tracker? I pulled 45% off the board a few days ago to lock in some profit. I can't complain. Over the last month and a half I have compted up almost 9%. Got my finger on the trigger just in case I have to jumped back to the lilly pad. Good luck to all of us.

That's good news Medic.

oh my goodness, the pressure was horrendous, i had my finger on the button from 11-12.

BUT i didn't do it, I'm still all in

50C 50S

BULLS TO THE WALL!

(today will be green, its next week I'm worried about)

It's very conceivable that most corrections may occur on an intraday basis leaving no entry points for the sidelines - pay up or be forced to stay out. It's a classic situation. I have the advantage because I've already been there several times. That's why I strained to keep all my assets intact - knowing the history does help.

sp500 dropped to 666 and then bounced up.. hope it doesnt drop after 6 weeks of gain.. 6 is the new 7 in 06.. oh.. 09..

lol, i drink like 5 pots o java a day :) dont drink but maybe one beer a month maybe 3 watchin races etc.

might have to get me a bottle though, this is some fun stuff lol.

Be prepared that there will come a time when the bull will shake your confidence but at perhaps much higher levels. Especially after the sideliners have finally jumped back into the pool - it'll be classic.

Birch if you could stack yours anyway you wanted it right now, would you have all c fund or s fund or half and half or what. preparing for the new bull market that is coming :)

I've been buying 100% C fund for seems like forever with my dollar cost averaging approach - and all the way down it hurt so good. My lowest price was $8.54 and I think I'm about to miss my chance for a $10 price tag because we may blow right through this price like we did on the way down. The VIX is the CBOE volatility index and tracks the degree of volatility in the options markets. When we were sliding into hell it was reading as high on an intraday basis of 90 and now that the world hasn't ended it has clamed down into 33.94 and most likely heading lower. This value will begin to provide solace to the many institutions on the side lines and the money will flow back into the markets at least for the next several months and perhaps beyond into the end of the year. The SPX is just another term for the S&P 500. OEX is another term for the S&P 100. I accumulate my share positions during corrections and make my money during bull markets. You are among a minority on the MB that believes we are in a new leg of the bull market - we need to keep it that way. Too many cooks will spoil the soup.
