My TZA shares are in the money now, but we will see how today ends...could this be the start of the pullback many people have been expecting? I guess it depends what the big shots say at the meeting I believe is happening today.
 
tza 15 min chart looks like a cup & handle forming (and on IWM as well if you flip that chart upside down :))

there with you. in @ 11.14, may have to hold a few days in order for the move to materialize, but it looks like the VIX is ready to swing up again

I was hoping to get back in on my TSP account tomorrow, but I don't want to make the move in to simply save a February IFT. I guess I will have to make that decision tomorrow...
 
I'm going 100% F. My plan was to go back 100% S, but we have not really seen a pullback yet and I believe there is a pullback to come in the very near future. This will start me invested for February, but I see the F fund almost like shorting the market since it usually goes in the opposite direction of the C, S, and I funds. I normally don't play the F fund, but it seems that it may get a pop on any pullback and I will be fine with that even if it is just half of a percent. Will be looking for an entry into the S fund once a pullback occurs. We shall see how this plays out...wish me luck because most likely I'll need it haha.
 
So tomorrow will probably be based solely on the jobs report. My luck it will be great and the market will go booming, but we shall see... Maybe I will be lucky for once.

I'm afraid you've missed the boat for tomorrow. The futures are fat. There's always manyana to get back in then. It's a tough world and the only way to make your big money is to get in and stay in. I'm telling you so I'll have to do it myself. No offense intended. I was once enlisted. You've got to think like a criminal to make the big bucks. Put your money in it and go out there and make some more. Advice is given at this site by the ton. It's who you take it from. It is going to be a great Spring for the market.

I'm not worried about missing the boat, because I've been on the boat since the 1st of the year. Look at where I am at on the tracker...I've done well so far this year. There is a pullback coming before we go up too much higher I believe. Either way we will see what happens...no matter what you can't always be right. :)
 
Economy doesn't add as many jobs as expected, the unemployment rate goes up...and the futures go up because of it. It all makes sense doesn't it lol...

that's what i was thinking at first as well. i read a little further into the report and saw that the revisions to november and december's numbers were extremely positive. i guess people are hanging on to that. i think we melt down from the gap up open.

Seems the futures are melting down by the twosies right now. Everytime I hit refresh it is two points lower on the DOW. We will see :)

I know they were up over 100..., but it got down to like 98 when the market opened. Already lower than that now. We will see how things go throughout the day... :)
