General Commentary:
Oh Ouch! The DOW was down and so was the S&P. Consumer sentiment is low, mortagages are in a meltdown (where this goes is any bodies guess), production is down and so are retail sales. The good news is that jobs are up, and inflation is at 2.4%
The Market is going through a somewhat instability crisis (volatility). Last Friday was a rather funny knee jurk bounce.
Economics / Fundamentals:
Inflation is ok [2.4%], jobs are good, but production, retail mortgages, and consumer sentiment are not doing so well! So yes I would have to agree that the economy is headed for modest growth.

Technical Analysis:
The Dow was down 195.91 and the S&P was down 18.08 points for the week. There is a increase in the volatility of stocks as the Bollinger bands have increased in width; now at 157.654
We don't have any stops set because of the lows. So far we don't have a trend. Things are kind of lukewarm, if not cold.
TSP / TSPTalk / and me
My allocations can be found in my signature and the Tally / Tracker. The real theme is your own risk tolerance and skills. We need to actively manage our accounts. Not that we want to be glued to the Lilly Pad (G-Fund), but neither do we want to be swimming in a pool of sharks!
