Looking for the markets to continue their death roll.....I mentioned last quarter that during this period, there is very little chance of making any profit.....its best to stay out for now....

I wonder if you... FundSurfer and Griffing want to continue slamming my market prediction statement I made back on the 12th and previous/past statements....I may be down on returns but I have reasons......it doesn't make me stupid....suggest you listen for a while, it looks like you could use it.....

Gonna see some reaction to the drop sometime in the next week or so.....don't get into any rush though.....I really haven't looked deep into a date of late, but I will this morning......

Watch SPX 1258. :D

SPX futures are sitting at 1259.

Bull want to see a bounce off 1258 (like on Friday) and the bears want to see that long term resistance taken out.

I think we will see the S&P into the 1230's at least before its all over.....then we will see where it will go from there.....

Watch out below!!!!

SPX at 1259. :)

Oh the suspense.

This hasn't made the financial headlines yet. If it holds up and becomes front page news, blood will flow.

CNBC did an excellent piece on “STEALTH INFLATION”. Grocery producers are making their products smaller while keeping the price exactly the same so that it doesn't look like inflation is showing up in their market. Examples: Mayo went for 32 oz to 30, Kingsford Charcoal 20 lbs to 18 lbs, chips 5 oz bag to 4.5 oz bag, and the price remained the same for each item.:worried:
I also got nailed on (none the less) Quilted Northern tail blotter last trip, by a full USD. That's another thing the grocery stores do... they jack up prices on isolated items, and then return them back a day or two later.

If things keep up, I won't need any Quilted Northern; I'll just use a stack of Ones.

USD is reversing. The stock investors will figure it out soon enough. They are all ways - LAST to react.

Yep, I still think you should keep quiet till you learn a thing or two.

1.) Griffin and I are both in G right now. Both waiting for a better entry point.

2.) I stepped aside after some losses. I'm still very happy with my year to date return. I will be stepping back into the market very soon. When you are timing the market you don't get it exact every time. The goal is not to make every move correct but rather to be right more times than you are wrong.

3.) I have only seen you be bearish on the market to date. An occasional transfer into F instead of G but that's it. You have just barely cracked positive for the year to date (Thanks to a little bounce in F last week - warning, I'd bail out of F if I were you, it will be reaching resistance in the next couple days). Since the market moves up and down, you will eventually be correct if you are always bearish. Remember the story of the boy who cried wolf? After awhile nobody listened to him anymore.

4) For the record, I never called you stupid. I did suggest that your methodology needed a tune-up. I wish you much positive trading.

Thanks Technician for providing some entertainment.

Since I have a limited amount of time and I can see that discussions with you are not going anywhere and I think that public taunting back and forth are not good for a message forum, I'm going to make use of the new message boards ignore function. I will not be repling to any future messages aimed at me.

When shopping all ways look at the bottom shelf. The con is they put the marked up priced stuff at eye to hip level.

If you are a sniper then you should be crawling anyway. :D

You got hit because you put your head up to make a selection from the higher shelves. :)

I suppose those Ones could be cycled through the washing machine, but it might be a waste of precious soap. We would have to do a cost/benefit analysis...

Hey, looks like the market is licking its wounds... for now.

Yeah, the rest of the world is down over 2% on average why shouldn't the U.S. close green. :worried:

Mexico down over 4%, Argentina 6%.
