NNUUT,

From the article you post it appears that Monday and Tuesday should be relatively stable days. The first danger shows up on Wednesday. So, I'm going to stay in stocks through Tuesday and get out at COB Tuesday. I'll likely get back in on COB Thursday, depending on what it looks like.

"However, he noted that stock and bond investors are likely anticipating the steady-as-she-goes approach. Therefore investors are unlikely to be ruffled by a lack of change, beyond a typical knee-jerk reaction.
The fourth-quarter GDP report Wednesday, however, could throw a few curves, he said. "It's a difficult one to predict because the reads on inventories and exports move around a lot," Shapiro said. In addition, this is the preliminary read on the fourth quarter, later to be advised.
At the end of the week, investors get the January jobs report, which should show continued solid growth in payrolls. Where the report could threaten stock gains is if average hourly earnings - the report's inflation component - shows a bigger-than-expected decline."

Spaf,
It's good to have these alternatives. Do you think these charts will show intraday price movements or at market close?

My feeling is that iShares have real good intraday price reports. Some ETF's have lousy intraday reports. I ran a comparison of ^DWCPF vs IJR, though not exactly they do track fairly atop each other. ^DWCPF won't register on StockCharts.
IJR is the index fund, IJJ is the value fund and IJK is the growth fund.
Some ETF's might be great funds but lack good intraday reports. I've always had good reports on my platform, using iShares.

I know that DWCP doesn't exist in StockCharts, although it used to open up in BigCharts. I am aware that there are a couple of symbols that use DWCP symbol, but I don't really understand the subtle difference. But, please take a look at $EMW in StockCharts because it is the Dow Jones Wilshire 4500 Completion Index and will show intraday movement, at least if you have real time.

Sponsor,
Your correct with $EMW. I was trying to keep my trading system and TSP together. But, it kind of looks like I need 2 systems. Then if I figure buy vs sell (with different MACD's), I need 4 systems!.....:(
Can't win for losing!

Indicators and Oscillators: I seem to risk paralysis by analysis by trying to follow too many symbols and indicators. I have too many choices!......

I'd love to go fishing if it wasen't so dang cold...............:D

Count your blessings - you could be one of those Oklahoma noodlers. They pull up some great sized catfish with their hands.
