What an ugly week of games to choose from. I'm sticking with my strategy of not burning the good teams so early in the year...and am picking a 1-3 team to win at home against another 1-3 team. Yeesh!

I'm gone too. KC took out 24 folks on Sunday, but it was the Ravens who got me. The 2nd highest pick, Atlanta, had to survive OT to get through, saving 11 from demise.

I am wondering how the automated system picks the Seahawks over the Panthers??? I didn't get my pick in on time so I thought, ok... Maybe will lose a high ranking team that I thought would be auto picked( losing better bullet for later in season) but at least will survive another week. Gosh... Seahawks 3, Panthers 7 in 2nd qtr. ...no surprise there! No way wouldI pick that. If I survive it will be a miracle!!!

Well....Seahawks are up! Game is not showing here....was supposed to be on Fox, but soccer on instead. . Just watching live comments on line. I guess maybe Panthers lineman Kuechly not fully well??

It showed I did not have a pick, but When I tried to enter pick (via my phone), i could not figure out where submit button was at and then it said time exceeded so I figured I got the auto pick. When I got home I get on ipad and it showed the auto pick of Seahawks just before halftime so I figured I had a chance..and they win!. Then after game I go to confirm win and enter Game 7 picks, figuring I was still in and it says I am eliminated. What happened?

seattle lost the game but won the point spread -6.5. the tsptalk pool is based on win-loss of the game. the point spread is a helpful report to show who is favored. this ain't vegas honey, or else i would've already lost my shirt. so you're out, at least you are in fine company.

There won't be one for the playoffs, but there are other things we can do. I'll try to find ones that would work best for us.

i am really liking the new nfl format this year. the way they hand over the 4th quarter referee action to 'the booth' in new york so that they can remotely penalize effective defenses and ignore ticky tacky illegal procedure offense calls by the guys on the field to ensure an overtime session is cool. the excitement is good for the fans, the advertisers get some more exposure and bring more money to the league cartel, and sometimes players get another chance to dance like michael jackson before going home and beating the crap out of their girlfriends. fortunately, they almost always award the game to who was supposed to win anyways so no harm no foul.

i am not a big statistics guy, but i swear there must be more overtime sessions already this season than in my entire childhood which was way too short. now back to my rigged world wrestling federation pay per view programming already in progress.
