LOL. I know. But I also play against the boys in the office and so I posted my picks...for no apparent reason. Hope my picks didn't give anyone a false sense of security. Damn, those were some bad picks. :laugh:

Those were picks for week 1. I don't think anyone would pick the Bucks and jags in a survival pickem no matter how restricted the options :laugh:

This was a pretty difficult week for survival pickem. Most of the 'good' matchups team-wise were divisional games or away. There was no easy, sure-fire pick. I picked GB over CHI in my other league (SEA over STL in this one) just to spread the risk.
With New Orleans down by 10 points in the 2nd half, it looks like this could be the hatchet week (my term). It seems like every year during the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd week of the season, we get a big favorite team beaten where we lose at least half the pack. 59% of the field took the Saints.
I nearly did not take the Saints knowing this, but in the end, I did. :1244:

Well, I'll bet that next year I don't pull a stunt like today...Wednesday I clicked on the Saints. Thursday a review I trust outlined why Cleveland would take the Titans, so I switched. This morning, I was reading the sports page injuries review...And I went back to the Saints... It is as it is...

According to the rules, if you fail to make a pick, you get the team that is the largest favorite for the week (that you have not used already). That said, I failed to make a pick on Sunday 9/20/2015, and based on what I can see in the reports I should have gotten New Orleans, but I instead got STL. I understand that I would have lost either way, but am curious how such a big discrepancy occurred.Similar threads
