L-Fund Returns Project

Does anyone have time to take on a little project? I am curious how the L-funds would have done between 2000-2002 if we would have had them available back then.

I'm preparing for an interview someone is doing on TSP Talk later today and it would great to have that info - but I don't have time.

I've got a spreadsheet that will do the trick if I don't have to re-balance daily. If you want the daily re-balance, it will have to be someone else.

Here's some info. I used the original L Fund allocations. Notice that risk is directly related to returns.

The C Fund was the riskiest and produced the greatest return. The L Income was the least risky and produced the lowest return.----Jim
