kar crazy's Account Talk

When she returns again let me know because I'd be glad to reach out and knock her out of her chair. She needs discipline and guidance - love will not work in this situation, sorry. It's hard to be tough but that is what this girl needs - you set the parameters and if they are violated let her know there are going to be repercussions that may involve a certain degree of pain. Encourage her to join the Air Force or the Army so she will be with a different peer group.
i here you BT shoot i dont think the air force would even look at her without high school diploma but you are right she needs one up side her head make her relize she has gone way too far

Thanks for not getting angry with me over this - it's easy to be a protector. Make a few calls to Army recruiting - there is a big push on to build up the ranks so they have been forced to reduce standards. She can always work on her GED at a later date. The Army will train her, force discipline and when she has accomplishment with success she'll get a job that is important. It doesn't have to be forever - but if she meets a nice guy she may decide to stay for retirement. She will make a fair salary with promotion potential and actually get to travel. My wife had a nephew who enlisted with out his high school diploma - and is currently at Ft Jackson, SC. That's where I had my initial bootcamp and boy they made a man out of me in preparation for travel to exotic Vietnam. Your daughter will do fine, she has already demonstrated strength, it just needs to be channeled in a positive direction. Grab her by the ear and lead her to Uncle Sam - he can use her help.

I read your thread, not so much for your investment advice ( :) ) but cause I love your sense of humor....the comment on running into somebody's anchor left me on the floor !

KC, When I saw your post - knowing everything you and your daughter have been through already --- I HAD THE EXACT SAME FEELINGS as Dennis expect I thought more of taking matters in my own hands. It just would feel a lot better if I could humiliate who ever it was a little bit and hear them beg you and your daugther for forgiveness; but Dennis and you are right - let the law handle it then somewhere down the line if I'm passing through maybe I could still have a little fun. I've got to hand it to you KC - you're handling this a whole lot better than I would have. You might want to consider motion detector lights or a dog. I guarantee ya my dog would have let me know someone was out there.
