Hey, everyone ! Have a happy and safe 4th of July.
I am just praying no one here follows Fayetteville's mayor instructions to shoot their fireworks off over a field - There is a big field behind my place, and I sure don't want to wake up with flames dancing around my home!!! :worried:
...also praying the airlines mind their manners come Monday - I am taking `the bull by the horns' and flying to Richmond VA on the 5th. I gotta get a closer look at that Great Grandson than I can see on Facebook! Anyone in that area that week, feel free to send a pm.

How great is that Grand Ol' Flag! ...been through a lot, but still waves!!!! Folks still line up at our embassies in foreign lands to get here, others climb over each other to get in, so whatever is said - We are Blessed!

I know what your saying Grandma. We have not had any rain in 1 1/2 weeks. Everything is Dry. I usually light off some fireworks, (rockets, mortars etc...) but if it does not rain in the next 2 day's and it is not for casted to then I won't be lighting anything that goes airborne off this year. Kinda a bummer but I'm not going to be responsible for a fire.

July 4 is the Bikes, Babes & Bling weekend here. Ted Nugent is supposed to be the main attraction tonight at the Music Pavilion up the hill from me. So I guess I can say I've at listened to him in person ! -assuming he did make it, and that it is him I am hearing... ..singing something about `moves.'
I have no idea what he is saying now - the neighbor's dog answers him every little bit, though. ...lots of cheering & clapping...

I sure feel sorry for the folks in the apartments right next to the Mall !!!!:blink:

Happy Independance Day to all.

No rain here since 9 Mar. Many fires going all ready. Fireworks will create more. Good luck on your flight Grandma and a huge hug to that new Grand. I get to see mine again in two weeks.

Drove to Phoenix from Las Vegas area today, lots of people headed in to Laughlin, Vegas, Havasu, and anywhere not Phoenix.
