JTH's Account Talk

I see you dollar cost averaging into your pain level - way to go and the way to make money. This market will likely not break and coming earnings will lead the way for the market to place higher highs. It's time to hold the line.

You caught me, I still have one more IFT and a little more room to buy :)

Do u have a target price for the S fund?

I do not have a bottom in mind and even after today's price action I'm not entirely convinced the bottom is in. For the Wilshire 4500 we are at support with a rising trendline in conjunction with the 50SMA. I'd like to see a bounce in the 891-895 range.

Not being a forecaster or knowing all that much about technical analysts but I don't feel that 1650 is out of bounds. Only based on the two open gaps and a few articles I've read.

What is your chances we break below 1685 come October sell off?
Sometimes I hate hindsight.

IFT EoB today, 100S

So do you see this entry lasting more than another day or two and having more upside potential than what we're seeing this morning J? I'm part (65%) in and thinking of going 100% -- but with this morning's blast off, concerned I may have missed the opportunity by not going all in yesterday.

Thus far this is nothing more than a 50% retracement bounce off the recent pullback (typical market behavior.) For those out of the markets we would need to recapture 1684 before I'd entertain an entry.

As Toms's Wednesday blog pointed out, we did some technical damage, I would like to add that within Fibonacci levels we are still within acceptable parameters of a pullback while maintaining the overall uptrend. This has been the year of the V-Bottom...

I'm in the green on 3 of these positions with stops in place to protect the profits.

Stopped out of ENPH @ 7.86 for a 1.95% gain. This was one of the 2 stocks I had taken a loss in this year, the original loss was -8.9% now the overall loss between the 2 trades is -3.03%
