JTH's Account Talk

IFT EOB Today 40F/60S

Saw that when I posted mine (65F/35S); but gdmt!!!, now its looking like an intraday reversal off of 1,330, and those U-shaped patterns tend to not to bode well in the short term - sort of needs to break through the test barrier in order to bring in the buyers (suckers - including me); I was hoping for a cliff-drop with a deadcat before the "big one" (Q2 GDP report).

Thank you everyone, it's good to be checking back in, I see there has been some steller performers on the Auto Tracker, I look forward to closing the gap...

JTH, would you be so kind as to explain this? I would have expected a 20% move, but not the whole 60% in one shot...
Thank you in advance.

I'll be looking at the price action on AGG, waiting to see if we close the gap and resume the uptrend. Conversely, I want to see if the Wilshire 4500 will will complete its Complex Head & Shoulders Formation, I'm looking for a 645 PO, but will take anything from 645-655. A breakout to 685 reverses the trend so long as we maintain a higher low. Hope this helps, I should add that I'll be getting more aggressive as we transition into the best 6 months timeframe.

here's my explanation; first 2 consecutive days of 2% (rounded) since what? early 2008? for what reason? some euro says something glib? and the market buys anyway? that's a no-brainer exit for me....AGG will move up further....I shifted over to AGG then chickened out of that before the end of month. My first monthly gain >1% in awhile....

I am ashamed of my performance, this year my TA has been getting slaughtered, I just can't seem move fast enough within the TSP realm and it's downright frustrating. I don't do well under these oscillating conditions. The 2IFT limit seems to compound my inability to make a clear and concise decision, if I were willing to accept more risk, I'd be doing better.

Me too. Me too. Buddy

This isn't a normal market in a lot of ways. Mainly it driven by headlines out of Europe. That's not easy to figure out.

You said it. In this kind of market we are really handicapped with only 2 IFT's a month. But will the FRTIB open their eyes and help us out? Nope!!!
