JTH's Account Talk

Japan's Nikkei index rose nearly 20% in the first quarter, for its best performance in 24 years - that must say something.

BirchTree, I'm glad to see you are finally back from your self-imposed exile, had you been gone any longer some folks would have started a petition to free you from the oppressive shackles of our forum Admin. Don't think I don't feel sorry for you, every now and then we all need to be taken down a notch or two, perhaps you more than others :)

As for myself, my last 30% entry at $EMW 769 lead to 4 exits, each higher than our current levels so I'm free to go back in and scoop up lower prices. I may take an entry today, more likely I'll wait.

No IFT today, my analysis tells me to wait, we aren't over sold enough yet, there is still plenty of room on the downside before we get a bounce.

I assume you mean don't buy into this downtrend (C, S, or I), not that it does me any good. I was out for all the gain and in for the losses. It's the story of my life -- the last 12 years anyways. I just don't see how you all make any money at this.

That is EXACTLY how I have felt this year... what the heck...

Its that feeling of just dumb minus the luck. right?

In this case I'll be looking for a tail to chase, if today's candlestick can put in a decent tail, then I may look for an partial entry on a flat day tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see if the $SPX can cut through the 50 day EMA tomorrow, or bounce off of it and head back down. There's obviously a lot of momentum out there.

Shall we start a pool?

I'll put a buck down... on the downside.
