JTH's Account Talk

JTH I went 100% G for my last trade of the month. I don't want to push my luck.:)

I made my exit at 1065, I won't know if that was a good idea untill the end of the month. But honestly given today's action I'd do the same thing. I heard some talk on CNBC of a pump & dump at the end of the month. I can't give it any weight, but sooner or later the big boys are going to take profit and given the light volume Monday, it might be a great time for an exit.

There will be better opportunities to enter latter on. Had a nice day yesterday. Might make a tad today, but I won't push it. I'm retired for God's sake.;)

Now wouldn't you both like to see the market advance in a parabolic manner - an advance at an accelerating rate - before it undergoes its first significant correction since March. A steady uptrend without a much awaited for correction is a perfect motivator for some serious panic buying. Step out into traffic when the action starts.

At the moment AGG is in the green. I like to use AGG as a truth meter and right now it's telling me money is not running out of bonds into stocks.

I wish the AGG was more consistent. I see treasury yields are up for the most part so far today. That makes more sense.

I'd be surprised if the F fund is up again today if stocks hold up.

I was expecting for AGG to be putting in the next swing low today and tomorrow, based on Fridays higher high red candlestick. Have you noticed the stair-stepping volume on the weekly charts? I've also noticed the slow stochcastics (39, 1) have turned down below 80 on both the daily and weekly.

These are just some observations, I'm not ready to call for a significant pullback in AGG, but when it does happen, I probly won't be able to get out in time...

Um, I took that as No news is Good News.

I'm in, but I'm out at Dow 10K or S&P 1200

Whichever comes first!!!!

That about sums it up, if you're in there isn't a great reason to get out, and if you're out there isn't a great reason to get in.

The ADX trend strength indicator (white line) shows overall trend strength is decreasing.
