Trying to change the way people think about investing has never been an easy task. We could all use more bullish sentiment.

I've developed my own buy & hold strategy, it's called refuse to sell at a loss. OBTW I posted an I-Fund chart for you in my blog.

but why watch a 3x ETF instead of the 1x or the index itself?

I like using the ETFs as a proxy for the Indexes.

Since I can't find a short-term pattern, I'm looking at the 23.6% Fibonacci level in conjunction with the pivot on the bear flag as a a level of support.

I honestly don't know the mechanism on how the POMO affects the market, except there is some correlation to POMO and market direction. With that said, if (and I mean a big IF) the market decides to sell off, there is nothing we will see to give any indication... it will just dive...

As long as it waits 'til after COB, I'm ok with that. In fact... if it keeps going up tomorrow, I will be kicking myself for thinking it will drop at least a day.
