Is it me or did the bill getting signed by Obama make the market go down even further? Here I was expecting a rally...things aren't looking very good. I'm with JTH...I may have to jump out before I just continue going deeper and deeper into the negatives.

That Oversold indicator is going to be a lulu tomorrow. Maybe this is just an attempt by the big-boys to try and spook everyone out of the woods. Juicy morsels just laying around all over the next day for the wolves to snatch up.

Boy what a crooked game. Someday Ill learn not to get burned, I hope.

It's clear this not the deal the market wanted, we are still on a path to downgrade. No relief from the debt fight from congress, jobless recovery on the ropes, who wants to hire under these conditions?

How/where do you do this? Ive been pretty limited to this site and Yahoo finance.

It looks like Moody's left the US AAA rating intact but still views it negatively. I think this is good news?

Went right through support at 665. That's a sell for me pending surprise ADP tomorrow.

Figures were updated, now in the minus a little.

It's good news in that is buys U.S time to fix debt problem. However...is S&P going to confirm rating or notch
U.S down? Arggg...I hate making financial decisions in this environment.

This makes me nervous. I was going in on a bounce, but if the bleeding continues, I'll stay safe (G) until we see the pattern play out.

This Complex Head & Shoulders has a price objective of 1145. There's a 2/3rds chance of a pullback, and a 53% chance of meeting the actual price objective if the pullback were to occur. For myself, I've found that many time these patterns fall short of meeting the price objective, usually hitting 66-75% of the projection.
