Tsptalk,

I'd like to get your opinion on the I fund and where you think the fund is headed in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,

I hesitateed in the past to comment on your trading account in case it is misunderstood as smartassed or sarcastic. But your comment today (monday) on teaching some one how to fish makes me acknowledge the truth and benefit of what you do share with us. I do thank you for your effort. Regardless of the results, I was helpedin gainingsome confidence and backbone to feel, hey I too can try this. Afterall, the truism no risk no gain is there for a reason. Keep up the great experiment.

As I feared, the big rally in bonds Thursday afternoon brought on a pullback in bonds Friday. A .04 loss in the bond fund is about as bad as it gets. My timing is unreal. This is why I have been tentative to take chances lately. I like getting that safe G fund gain until my indicators get bullish again.

But that's the way it goes. You take a chance, you can get hurt. Bonds now have to move higher next week or the higher low will not hold and I'll have to bail. We'll see if the day before the Fed meeting spooks bonds again Monday.

Have a good weekend!
Tom

I am going to make a move into the bond fund today. Effective 12/09 (COB12/08) I am making an interfund transfer to 100% F fund as I mention in Thursday's market comments. The G fund has been picking up the pace with the return rate so if you want to continue to play it safe and not take a risk, you may want to stay in G as your safe haven.
