Hey, you keep making it worst. Stop that.:D

Keep up the good work.

I was thinking the same thing.

I will check after the EAFE final and check the damage for today.

I feel like a hockey player in the penalty box.

Two more days and I can start playing again. The trade restrictions may have saved me some money.

The dollar fell more in the afternoon, this will soften the -FV, or there might not be any at all. Assuming the market ends at these levels.

Isn't it great these idiots that convinced their congressmen to vote against it are losing their shirts just to save some tax money?!? Wake up people! I was betting the bill would pass and watch the I fund explode..guess I'll have to wait a while..huh??

The ones who wanted them to vote against it may not have any money in the market, including in retirement. And don't tell me we were going to pay for this with taxes, the idea of $700 billion in taxes is just...just..
Get me my ban stick!!! I've got velcro to put it on my Congressman's back.
:ban:
Whoa...birdeen, calm down....

Silverbird,

I have to say someone came to my door this weekend and stated "You are going to write a check for $5000 dollars at tax season, if this bill passes." Can you believe it? The fear instilled by the misinformed of this world never ceases to amaze me. Of course, when I asked them the verbage of the bill that was put forth in front of Congress, they had no clue. Henny Penny's, all in one, no matter what we are going to pay. Whether it be in taxes or lost revenue, WE WILL HAVE TO PAY!!!!!

No need to call names. Nobody put a gun to your head. You made a bet and you lost. Tough ****.

What a surprise today. These congressmen actually listened to the people. It's amazing when it works.

Btw, I didn't lose any money today.

Peace.

350Z,

I am not surprised, most of the HR just got there or are trying to get back...They are closer to the people than the Senators, IMHO. However, I do not believe that the fear level is high enough. I believe that tighter regulation might be needed for future business. It seems the banks could not "police" themselves correctly. I hate oversight as much as the next person, but look where we are now.:suspicious:

Have you looked at the bill? There is a section in there that allow bank reserves to go to ZER0(or something to that effect, I'll have to look at it again). Think about that. I'm no expert, but that sounds very dangerous. IMHO, Paulson and Bernanke can not be trusted.
