Your Nikkei figures are from the 225, not the 300.

Nikkei 300 last night was up +0.44% at the end.

All Europe is closed- Easter Monday.

Today was a great day to buy... sell tommorrow though! Thursday before a long holiday is always a downer.

Seemed that Thursday was a good day after all, eh?? Now, Monday is starting off well, but we need to see how it ends....I am staying in stocks through Tuesday, then will decide...

Seems somewhat of a "no-brainer" to get in the I-fund today given the USM gains and the temporary hiatus in most of the OSM. Might Barclay's wait until tomorrow to apply the FVC from Thursday to account for this? It will probably still be a good move, I'm thinking.

EAFE for Friday= $0.08
plus EAFE Monday estimate up $0.04 = $0.12
minus FV for Monday (previous) of -$0.24 = -$0.12
plus FV for Monday (guess) of $0.32 = +$0.20 :)

Be careful. Thursday and today both good days for USM should mean a good day for OSM tomorrow...but lately I-Fund "no-brainers" have proven to be a trap. Just takes 1 bad news bear to start another downside.

I hear ya that is why I went right to the F Fund. Got caught in I trap 3 times since February.

I always use the Nikkei 225. The Nikkei 225 is easy to find. I can only find the Nikkei 300 on the Nikkei web site.

The EAFE fund does not invest in indices. The fund invests in stocks.

Toyota Motors is list as one of the largest market cap stocks in the EAFE.

Toyota Motors is listed on the Nikkei 225. Toyota Motors is not listed on the Nikkei 300.

Since most markets are closed today except the Nikkei, we can compare the results.

EAFE estimate +0.045%

Nikkei 225 –0.020%

Nikkei 300 + 0.440%

It appears that the Nikkei 225 is closer to the EAFE results.
