I fund for August 08

EAFE final down -$0.3445
plus FV Friday (previous) of +$0.1234 = -$0.2211

I think the I fund while it looks attractive may be in trouble. The FV makes it even more difficult and the foreign markets are having problems. It would not be a shock to see the I Fund below $20 soon.

Strongly disagree with that comment. Looking for some strong returns from this point on. I see a double digit gain from these levels this year.

That's very interesting, 12%. Could you give us some indication of what makes you come to that conclusion?

TIA,
Lady

i agree with you, but I will probably jump in soon hoping for some quick mad money.

I missed the last chance.

My entry point will be as soon as it hits below $20.00. The foreign markets combined with ours is not good for this fund. JMO we shall see soon enough.

Once the European central banks start buying dollars this whole situation will turn around - and it will happen rather quickly. To me the bigger risk currently is being out of the market not in.

Why would they do that?
I'm a bit leery of that idea too, there's no reason for the EU to want their currency to keep rising. Anyway, if they buy too much and the dollar rises, China, Japan and the Middle Eastern oil countries will start to sell dollars to minimize their currency losses, and the EU would be stuck with the dollars.

EAFE final down -$0.2081
plus FV Monday (previous) of +$0.0000 = -$0.2081 final :worried:

second lowest day of the year
