I tried to make an interfund transfer this morning, this is the message I received from tsp.gov directly after clicking submit.

The following errors have been encountered:

Attention: Your account has been restricted because you made more than three interfund transfers in February 2008. The TSP informed you of this restriction by certified letter dated March 13, 2008. Consequently, you may not request an interfund transfer using the TSP web site. Instead, you must request your IFT by mail using an Investment Allocation form.

FWIW, I am in the G FUND and plan on staying for several more days before I mail in any transfer. This rally is bogus. Read my 2 cents in my thread. BTW, you can make unlimited transfer by mail, I noticed you wrote that you were not using them up. The I Fund is not good, the US DOLLAR is going to kill any momo.

I moved 50% in the I, going to set on it there for a few days and watch the ups and downs, its got to come back.

Be careful here would be my recommendation. It is that same theory that I started this year with and then followed up by my "loss of patience" and now I am sitting at a negative 17.09% return for 2008 calendar year.

Dollar is up over 1%. This the reason for the puny gains.

Because the dollar has been dropping the I fund has dropped less. If the OSM go up and the dollar rises, the I fund will not go up as fast.

I think if Ben keeps his mouth shut we could have a good day tomorrow but Thursday will be profit taking ahead of the Friday reports. This could be a 3 day spike and take a hike. We saw this before the spike up 400 then a fast drop.
