What is the record highest number of posts in one day by a member? Excluding that new guy newsfeeder.

Don't know the answer to your question.
Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I think Tom used to have a little stat at the bottom of the main forum page (where it shows you how many folks are online) that kept track of the user with the most posts for that particular day...Doesn't seem to be there now.

It's still there. You have to be on the main forum page, not in a thread.

PO - remember the days before Beltway, and a couple of our guys (one left us) would respond to each post written,
regardless ...

...and you have to be logged in. When you're viewing the Board as a guest it doesn't show up.

Yes, Phil, the English major/gramaticist/spelling bee champ.
Grandma, I noticed that I am less than 100 posts away from joining the "club" and my mind went to thoughts of becoming a post person of the night to accomplish this goal and if I could set a record for most posts in a day and then I went back to doing my chores.
I have pretty much abandoned that idea as I will likely just end up on more ignore lists than I am presently.
I have submitted enough posts over the last 3.whatever years without brain function being involved.
