Happy Labor Day everyone, just remember that even if you do not agree with the labor politics as a whole that it was not too long ago that women and girls worked 12 hour days six days a week in extremely dangerous conditions to earn $2 a week. You all enjoy weekends, holidays, 40 hour work weeks, safe working conditions, unemployment compensation, workmen's compensation for injuries, fair treatment and fair pay. Had it not been for the labor movement we would have had none of those things.

Enjoy the day, as for me I will be WORKING on my basement ceiling. lol

Everybody have a great day. I will be working at Best Buy tonight. My wife and I are meeting our daughters and their husbands for lunch before I have to go to work. It's a good day.

By 0900 I had mowed half my yard with my 1942 reel lawnmower purchased in 1996, and started on a coupla-cups of 8 O'Clock brand coffee... Hmmm - I think the mower might need some sharpening!
