Handballer's Account Talk

I'm with 5.15% gain for the year. I have resisted using my second IFT for the month so far. I want to finish the year with a gain of 6.some%. May use that TSP for a day or two gain, grab the money and then revert to my current allocation.

That second IFT rewared me with a loss of 0.89% for the three days. Looks like I will look for a chance to reduce my losses early nest week.

Last IFT used for COB today - Dec 21st:
G - 100%

My mind (what?) is at rest now.

Hope your gunny sacks Gunny sack.jpg contain all you want for Christmas.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Starting new year with maybe gain of 0.01%. January 3rd IFT shows S-50%, I-50%

I should of made this move several days ago.:confused:

This is a new low on the tracker for me. But the good news is the leaders are only 3% or so ahead of me. O yea.

The good news is the tracker moves around a whole lot in the first few months, we'll all hit bottom sooner or later...

My second IFT submitted. Effective Monday, January 7th:
G fund 38%
S fund 10%
I fund 2%
L fund 50%

This should get me through the month without 2 much damage. I was paying attention to the Sentiment Survey but wanted to play this game some moor this month:
Cheers to all.

I've had this song playing in my head for a few days and here it is for your enjoyment. Larry Gatlin- "Help Me" - YouTube

The most members online in one day was 502, 01-03-2013. ---- Without me, that numbrer would not of been reached!:suspicious:

Thinking of Squalebear today. I wanted to do a <1%IFT today but didn't sign on to TSP.gov in time. Is this still permitted? Maybe tomorrow.

Yes, given the recent market strength, you should be able to go:
S - 11%
I - 3%
L - 51% (assuming L has enough in stocks to be making money in a bull market)
and drop G to 35%

Log in and try it out. I'd do that too if I had your allocation and was out of IFTs.

I'm doing to do another <1% IFT Monday morning - if I awake in time.

The share price for the S fund is $25.3318, and the I fund is $21.4434. Each should give me another % gain. But will the S & I fund prices be the same come Monday mornng?
I will leave the L fund alone for now. It is priced @ $15.8250.

I will be happy with a percent gain in January. And I have plenty of time to get there.

Ok kids enjoy the rest of weekend and be ready for some stock market action on Monday. I know Birchtree will.

I'm was doing another <1% IFT Monday morning .
I logged on to tsp.gov Monday morning and submitted <1% IFT trying to boost my S & I funds to 12% and 4%.
tsp.gov responded I could not.
