I got the band name but not the person. Great post. I was only a few miles away from where the band started. I was stationed at an Air Force Base. But that was 1970 to 1971.

You can name either (band or name of person) or wait till someone else to chime in. He's the singer dude.
Yeah, I never got a chance to see them, which is kinda sad. I wish I would have.
Great arena band with great songs (formed in 1967ish), but lost that Rock-N-Roll edge over the years to do more ballads, and eventually were reduced to playing State Fair type venues. Some great jams from back in the day though.....

One of my most favorite songs from them back in the day when all the bands were putting out songs that were 5 minutes or more in length. Kind of "Anthem" rock I guess. This is a great jam. From "You can tune a piano but you can't tuna fish".

same here, and the founder of both bands. Sadly his two younger brothers who were co-founders of both bands have passed away a few yrs ago.

So he and his kid Tal have a show on the Beatles Channel on Sirius XM called the musical mystery tour. They go over song structure, and other kinds of in depth topics that's pretty cool.
