Leader Board - The Official Site of the 113th U.S. Open Championship Conducted By The USGA

here is a link to current 3rd round scores. i will check cnn.com monday evening to find out if anybody won it on sunday afternoon. christ, no wonder they invented viagra.

a few of my friends stopped by and staged what probably could be called an interevention. apparently they think i don't have the patience for golf. no sh*t dumb*sses, i could have told them that.

I just finished watching the recording so I can finally read this thread. :)

33? Wow, very nice. 59 for me and I have #1 and #2.

I never saw a guy throw his wedge in a creek like Dufner did yesterday. He's supposed to be the most non-emotional player in golf. That Merion must be a bugger.

take a chill pill burro, not those blue things you've been piggin' down...the weather delays and play called due to darkness were frustrating....yesterday was the first day they had a total round completed...1st and 2nd rounds were going on simultaneously, sort of, same with the 2nd and 3rd rounds...they are back on track now with just the last round to go...we should get a Sunday finish......go gonzalo yourself:toung:

.

I DVR'd the coverage but did not take into account that it would run past the scheduled coverage time slot so I ended up missing coverage of the final pairing play 17 and 18. I will not make that mistake again.

yeah, sorry about that, i should have known when it lasted more than four hours. but i'm feeling much better now that i'm in 4th place. is it even statistically possible to beat tsptalk and gronk, let alone obgibby?

I promise I will give daily updates for The Open Championship, that or I will give a half a$$ed effort again...my appreciation for you, Tom, knows no abounds?...imagine how miffed we'd be if you missed a day...btw...how could stricker shank it...phil flew it 5 feet too far on the par 3...he didn't choke...hit it right over the wicker

Thanks for the offer, Tom. No need for the mug. Pride in winning is reward enough.

wow. at first i was gonna go off ... snooty turns up his nose at something others covet and crave too good for a mug are ya ... then i was gonna kneel in awe ... guy's so comfortable with himself he don't need to flaunt outward trappings of success ... then i was like ... what who doesn't like free stuff it's free man ... most folks who recieve free stuff they don't like or need just donate it to charity ... i know this guy with an old blue mug that's so beat up it's almost embarassing but he holds his head high and takes it out in public anyways ... maybe tom will still let you claim the five second rule and give it away to a worthy cause.

I confess the "pride in winning is reward enough" was a bit in jest, but applicable nonetheless since the contest involved golf. I'm sure it's a great mug, but how 'bout we get Tom to send it to the worst full year performer on the AutoTracker. The petition starts here. Show your support, let your voice be heard. Even the AutoTracker goat needs recognition.

Not a bad idea. I always said it is as difficult to come in last on the AutoTracker, as it is to come in first. It's like playing red/black on the roulette wheel. It's just as tough to be guess the wrong color 5 times in a row as it is to guess the right one.
