Rolling the dice... I'm buying some gold ETF (UGLD) here near the close. Big sell-off today after Bernanke. Gold down about $90 an ounce on the day.

The drop sounds like a good time to buy ...... but, my lack of expertise with Gold keeps me on the sidelines. I need to get myself educated in this arena --- seems like gold & silver are becoming the latest talk in the financial sector .... cheers

That looks like it could be a VERY profitable trade, Tom. Good luck!

I suspect it will be a volatile trade so I won't hold it long. I see gold is already up $25 in overnight trading, but who knows where it will be when I wake up in the morning?

I guess I should have taken day one's profit. Today's gap down stopped me out. :notrust:

Looks like there are a couple of open gaps at 40 and just below 38. I may have to nibble at 40 and again at 38, with a stop below the Dec low (< 36)

Gold looks like an attractive investment at these levels. Currently at $1637. Could see it going as low as $1550, but I think it'll near $2000 by summer.

One bad jobs report and bang! Gold will rally sharply. Plus, inflation anyone?
