Gold Stocks

Any opinions on Barrack Gold (ABX). It goes down when the market goes up, it goes down when the market goes down... it obviously goes down when gold goes down, but it even went down last Friday when gold was up. I don't understand and ready to give up on it. Any experience with this one?

I dont think ABX track in line with Gold, look at the 5y chart, it looks like it tank with the market in 2008-2009. I'm not an expert at all but i dont think it follow gold very well. try looking at GLD, again I'm not an expert.

There's a pretty good investing show here in the DC area called The Wise Invester Show that's on Sunday morning. They preach conservative value investing, and I believe that's on their buy list. You can listen to archives at The Wise Investor Show . They talk pretty in-depth on the companies they buy so you might find some decent info on the stock.
