Geaux4it's Account Talk

Will be leaving the country until the 20th and am 'hand ringing' on where to leave my $$$. Stocks or cash or mix. May get a chance to do IFT's but the time difference is a problem.

If the FED leaves rates where they are I suspect a bad day next week. If they lower rates probably see some nice gains. (Duh!)

My issue , do I want to be caught on the outside looking in or stay on the inside in stocks and risk the fall like a hot rock.

Decisions, decisions

Monday night here in Sasebo Japan. The dollar is in lowsvilee. Interesting article in the local fishwrap about how traditional Japanese housewives are playing in the overseas markets and taking it in the shorts. Many have lost up to ~$100,000.00 of family savings. Most doing so without husbands knowledge.

BTW, on another note, why does Greenspan still matter? Go away already..

From what I am hearing on Blomberg on-line, there is no advantage to being in stocks in anticipation of a FED rate cut. Talking head VP from Aerial Mutual Funds the market would react more to something that is suppose to happen that does not vs. something that does. I'm leaning towards going to cash today for the news coming.
Seems alot of talk about no cut coming. That would equal a bad day.

Man, I feel a whipsaw coming. Was on the beach yesterday and taking it easy and missed ~1.5%. Today futures are UP off the Euro rally and I am still taking a break on the shore. Who knows how the day ends other than I am jumping back in with the sharks. I am very close to going to 'Buy and Hold' again. Going I,S and G for tomorrow.

If you revert back to "B&H" you run the risk of being unceremoniously castigated and ignominiously ostracized. But if not following the herd doesn't bother you - you are poised to become a renegade contrarian. Pun intended.

I suppose I will have to wear the Scarlet Letter, errr, I mean, B&H letters. lol :notrust:

Diane Garnick of INVESCO Investments is talking to Master on Bloom at the moment. She thinks Small Caps have run their course. Interesting....

Talking about a real 'Debby Downer' Merrill Lynch is raining on the jobs report parade. Futures are coming of their earlier highs.

NIKKEI is up 172 pts early. I like where I am for tomorrow. Let's get this thing turned around.
