Looking at the data this morning and it could be we're in for one of those "adjustments" late in the year.....we may not get the penny till tomorrow....

Well it stayed true and increased today.....I'm not so sure that checking late into the predicted dates is good for producing results...I thought it would be more accurate and we would like to know before deadline....but we still have to consider the time of year where the TSP folks are trying to make adjustments....

I would guess being in early doesn't hurt.......next date is the 12th

Well we got the delay till the 27th due to holiday and weekend.......

Carnac the Magnificientlooks into the ball and sees a foggy cloud until the new year.....the message is clear......"Given two business days into the new year and and you will see a new rate"....meaning ....look for the 3rd for the next increase.....

I appreciate your work, I know you meant the 27th last time. I remember when Johnny, I mean Carnac the Magnifient appeared to make a mistake, Ed Mcmahan would correct him only to have Carnac come back with some wild explanation that would knock your socks off.

I noticed that the G fund gained a penny 7 Mondays in a row beginning on Nov 7th.

My pleasure.....but in Johnnies terms, "Yeah, we predicted that the increase was on Saturday, butthis is government at its best and it happened on Tuesday because we all took the weekend and holiday off together!"

G fund returns about 4% annually correct? Say the share price was double what it is now (in theory it should be someday, since it keeps rising). The penny drop will have 2x the frequency, yes? It seems the case, in order to maintain a 4% gain. A day far off, we could see a penny a day.

Hmmm....we finally got that surprise alright....but I had been anticipating the early rate increase for over a month.....figured it would never come and it does on the final day of the year......

Shoulda figgered there would be a last minute adjustment........

My predicted date is now between 1/5 to 1/6 2006.....
