Actually, it rode the NASDAQ and Buffet meeting (announcement), so the bulls ran a little further today....

Can someone remind me why the Nikkei goes up 3.55% and the I fund returns .10% overall?:mad:

Hey all,

Well, on the road again. This time to watch my beautiful, talented, extraordinary, intelligent daughter recieve her Master's degree. I will be on a whirlwind tour in Sacramento, picture taking, party-planning, partying, and fawning all over her. My son will be there too, but he has to accept that his sister is the star this weekend!

I'll probably be playing beer pong with the kids, once.

So, that being said, I'll be very quiet, much to the enjoyment of most on the boards!

congrates to you my man, i feel you on this one. i just got back from graduation this past friday. my son put in his 5 years to get his electrical engineering degree. he will start grad school in august. nice to see the kids reaching and climbing their stepping stones. no beer pong for me , but plenty of libations to satisfy. enjoy your weekend with your kids. i can tell your a good pops for them.

I remember that thing at our house when I was a kid, probably from the 1950s, used to have sayings printed all over it in different languages like "drink Up", "down the Hatch", "Com pi", "Scol" etc. I used it so much they wore off, never seen another like it. hic! drinking.gif

Melting market - up or down today?

Might start looking for some heavy volume numbers to make a direction call today or tomorrow.

Could Ben cause the market to stall a bit? - We'll see!

Well, with the move yesterday and the continued drop in the futures, could only mean one thing.........

Volume went through the roof yesterday.......

7% selloff in the Nikkei - ouch!

Might be the time to go away, now that May is almost over......
 
Couldn't get back in time to make my move, my doctor visit went a little long and I have to go back tomorrow.

Good to see SOME support out there....

Whip on up there with that 1% in 4 minutes. Housing prices up 10%? Really? If we can get good CPI numbers and some good Manufacturing numbers @10 the sky's the limit!

Need to offset my I Fund losses!
 
I've been patiently waiting on a +300 point Dow day to shake things up a bit - perhaps it has arrived.
