Frixxxx's Account Talk!

RMI, lunch soon....got some downtime comin.

PO - I love Suffolk so much...quiet, peaceful and no more sounds of a highway.....

BTW, anybody on the board need some donated leave?.....I have a few hours (Again) for someone in the system.

Well, this day is what I call "rape the TSP" day....I bought in high now time to sell low....NOT.

Man, buying into the run up this month has been fun....Waiting for the cliff hanger to come to an end is not fun.....

When this is all said and done, be ready for the ride...loopholes will be found and companies will be ready to go with tons of capital in the wings.

Don't take the feelings of the market today into the weekend.....The real enjoyment is with family.......Happy Investing!

Merry Christmas.....and Have a very Happy New Investing Year!

Well, the games started with the move in yesterday..... Missing four boxes and a dent in the Harley's gas tank. Good thing I bought the insurance......

After all is said and done, I just hope it's not pictures. I will be running inventory this weekend and will be scarce, as I post this at 4:50 AM with nothing but a ton of unpacking to do!

HI Frixxxx. Lovely home. I refinanced my mortgage a few monts ago and bought my interest rate down from 5.25% to 3.50%. Still a 30 year loan. My first payment is Jan 1, 2013 (already setup on bill pay). Its a two story house also and I sort of agree with Norman's comment about about stairs - stairs are ok now but in a few years I may not.

Thanks HB! This will be the home I leave when I retire. The stairs will be fine until I'm 57. Then I'll trade it in for a boat and a condo n the Caribbean.

The main thing I don't like about 2 story homes is they are hard to heat and cool. Upstairs is hot in the summer and downstairs is cold in the winter, not energy efficient. I can handle walking up and down and the exercise is good.

Dual Heat pumps works and dressing for the occasion. But yes, there is a zen that needs to occur when heating and cooling...

Zen might help but hot air rises and cold air falls, the house has a circulation problem, try exercise, potassium and Lipitor.:D

Sorry Frixxxx about getting a bit close to topic in the email:nuts:

Didn't actually think you would be stuck moving during the holidays. Oh well.:p Sounds as if you have a nice place though. I do like the area. Traveled a bit around the area. I really enjoy that part of the American neighborhood.

2 floors, 3 zones, 3 wireless thermometers, 4 daily temperature periods = comfort and efficiency (well, as much as you can considering)

Oh, and controlled from the web or smart phone from anywhere :)

I put a heated floor on the 1st floor. (water heated). Problem solved. Heat does rise but when it radiates from the floor it rises through the entire zone.
House has a basement which made for easy access.
Very pricey however but no affect on the heating cost.

Keeps your feet nice and toasty, better than my concrete slab in the winter plus I have all tile floors, but is cool in the summer. That's good in GA!

Well,

Good news...I never took money out of the game. Between JTH's reminder of January performance and the Uptrend cube..I may be in a while. Other news, I may have found a Reserve unit on the east coast and a possibility of my last stripe! More to follow!

Well, after crunching the budget numbers for 2013, I have gotten my adjusted gross income under $50K. Thank you, no applause please. I knew I could do it. I will be eating Ramen 2 nights a week. I will be practicing for my retirement. Now I just need them to keep taxes on my retirement income down to under 35%.

Mrs. Frixxxx is not to thrilled with adding an extra day of Ramen noodles, but she likes the idea of having no dishes those nights.

Seriously though, I'm saving up to pay cash for my next vehicle as my current 9 year old car will be going over 150K miles soon. Budget, what a concept.

Maybe a time to think about a pullback.

Retirement isn't too bad. We are getting used to the Alpo twice a week. No just kidding.
I know what you mean about the budget and a new vehicle. My van has 103,000 miles on it, is 10 years old and the underside is rusting badly. I really want a new pickup but I will have to see if I can swing the payments. Good luck Frixxxx.
