Frixxx, if this plays out the way some are projecting, I'll be buying back in sometime late month for a bounce, go flat in April, maybe play a bounce in C and S in September and then buy back in around November for the longterm (if .gov lets me sell my G at that point so I can buy back into stocks and/or F).

Knowing me, I don't think I'll be able to react fast enough to get in/out when I need to in the between times.

Now if things go different than I anticipate, I'll refigure.

But I have time to recoup losses when the market turns...

I found a cash 401K remnant the other day so I'm going to try and time my buy-in to TSP with a portion of it....

Switching between elligible accounts is a great way to balance and manage risk.....


OK, Well, let's stay low until Friday when I buy-in.....:D

I'm negative for the year...I'll just hope DCA will work...I should have left some in the kitty.....

Gotta train for my retirement.....To ive on a boat in the Caribbean...

I'm going to start the first "Island of the Month" Club!:cool:

This year, full sailing certifcation....

Next year, marine engine and boat maintenance school!

Well, I wanted to exit with one of two IFTs, but man...should I let fear rule me?

Anyway, hanging tight....Whew! I beat the fear!


Got sailing practice tomorrow...and qualification tests on Saturday, so everyone have a great weekend!:D

Charter is a good idea-- Fairly steep learning curve before a suitable purchase or maybe fall into taking care of somebody elses boat at their expense while they are away for extended periods. I love sailing, but it's "the slowest, most expensive way to travel third class". I don't recall from whom I got that quote.
