Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Thanks Everyone for the wishes (and jabs)!:D

It wasn't my weekend:
Friday- Motorcycle down
Saturday - cable modem down
Sunday - Baby Shower
Monday - Dead battery in Xterra:suspicious:

So there, Can I make it through the rest of the year with out these hurdles please?

Man, nowhere to go and no internet to play on......

Well if you want to play the optimistic card...

It's all up from here :D

Which would reasonably lead to...

your futures so bright you gotta where

Yeah, I know.....

But I have this eerie...2008 Feeling again.....I can't shake it...but oh well!

My seed corn is protected.
Yeah, I know, I might have called this one, but that is rare....I will be looking for an entry point soon, but see too much stagnate volume to trust the market.

Will try and attempt at the end of the week but it doesn't look good next week either......

I'm watching the S&P for an entry......S Fund is weakening on support:cool:

Well, guess no consolidation this week...

If we stay on direction here, there could be some position grabbing available today.

I'm weighing options to go in since I have can IFT out then pull back to G if need be....

Anyone else contemplating a leap off the lilly pad?

Thinking about it? Yes all the time :) I'm not willing to jump in just yet, but I have other factors alongside technical factors that are keeping me out. Wish I had a good answer for you, my own personal answer is to wait for the upside to resume, I'd rather lose profit going up than down. Bear in mind I have 25% currently in the red. :D

Unless we see some kind of a turn around I'm not going anywhere, at a minimum I need an uptick and confirmation the next day. Catching it on the second day is much better than following it down.

This is a dangerous market Frixxxx...

I wasn't expecting the 'I Fund' to dump on a US Treasury bond rating risk downturn.

Where can one hide when the 'G Fund' becomes Treasury's 'Slush Fund'.

We can always hope for a late afternoon "I" fund rally, can't we?:D:(

JP, I don't think so.

I think all we can hope for is a smaller decline for one the equities funds. That could provide a hint on where to invest.

Watch out for the small improvement in the 'F Fund'. The drones are trying to hide somewhere - but is US Gubmint debt the place to be when S&P increases the risk of such holdings.

I'm actually looking at the 'C Fund' as my hiding place. Huge multi-national corporations with lots of cash (and not just US cash - and with the ability to FOREX money assets around) and relatively little debt is starting to look like the place to be. It gives upside if the politicians decide to wake up before the bond vigilantes do - and seems to dump at a smaller rate than the other equity funds.

The Great Depression was exasperated by private debt and speculation. To me, it looks as if gubmint at all levels (especially the Feds and Blue States) thought we were in for a short term downturn that could be weathered via debt financing. I didn’t think that was a very good plan. My guess is that our 4th Turning economic crisis will be exasperated by public debt and speculation.

Start saving for cutbacks.

I'm in today, and hopefully get a 1% bounce tomorrow on speculation...Then I'll exit to G until next month, unless this is just a blip.

Looking for a hold on 12,250 Dow/ 1307 S&P hold today.

If we can keep those levels then we still have faith in the technicals....

If we sell off this afternoon, I'll have to take today and tomorrow's hit until I can get back onto the lilly pad!

Well, I can only move back to the G FUND this month, so I'm staying in....With what is being reported, it looks like I'll have a nice ride until the end of the month....But the I will have to decide whether to "go away in May" or not!

FERS retirement class today, so I'll be gone....

Peace:cool:

:blink:Well,

I'll buy this dip from my second account since I had a few bucks on the sideline in there.

Guess I need to watch the lunar movements carefully!

Autotracker Holding position.

How did the retirement class go...retiring as a millionaire like they told all of us when we came on?:cheesy:
Utilizing the calculator for TSP and IF I continue to get employee matching contributions I will have 1.4 million in TSP @ 57 (based on 6%/yr). And that is if I never get another pay raise or promotion.

I have other investments that will give me an asset worth of 2.6 million.

But, I learned about the SS supplement that I hadn't counted upon! That was nice!

So, to do my part for future Americans, I will retire before my years are worth 1.1%. Which will save 150K in taxpayer money (over estimated lifetime). But, if they take my matching contributions, then I will have to stay to get that extra amount on the annuity and then some!

Anyway, going sailing tomorrow for the weekend so I am going to be outta here early.

Hope I come back to a happier market....
