Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Just curious, if you move from a high locality pay area i.e. to take a promotion to a RUS area do we lose pay? Anyone faced this?

you keep grade/step but adjust to new locality pay. lower cost of living can more than make up for it. hard to blow $ at starbucks when there ain't no starbucks. and if you can talk good coffee's always free.

Thanx Buster!

Well,

Choose to ride out January on the "C" side and lost out on a nice move today on the "S" side...

Congrats to those 1.33% - Sentiment Survey needs it BAD!

Oh well, thought my S&P would deserve a ride, but I'll take my green movement today...

Good-bye 18!

The deployment of IPv6 is not of concern in the new technology scheme of things...

Reason?

Subnettting.

Imagine each IPv6 address hosting an IPv4 network. Just NAT behind your unique 1 of 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 and BINGO! 4 billion addresses to use @ your leisure!

That means you'd never have to worry about IP addresses until we colonize Mars.

Easy math!:D

Although, terms are going to have to change drastically!

Is that enough IP's for our upcoming-of-age ritual chip-in-the-head implants?

PS- Marketing FAIL!
You tell the customer that AFTER you sell them 1k of new hardware!

Actually, if you want to talk about numbers.....think about nanites!

If you need a couple billion to accomplish a task, imagine the IP nightmare that could be generated in a system to repair a liver/kidney/spleen???

Hey, I have a new plot for a book!

Repo Men sequel?
Nah, better...

The rich order the nanite pkg.....Don't pay the bill, the nanites work in reverse and leave the body immediately....painful death......

Or you could implant small levels of explosive to terminate the nanites IN THE BODY!!!!!:suspicious:

I'd want a return on my investment, or at least the opportunity to resell the asset...Ha

Nanite Harvesting....sweet!

You could go rogue and "steal" them from people.....Implant a "viral" nanite that converts standard nanites and directs resources and work effort differently!.....

I have always said that nanites will be the assassin choice of the future!

Anyway, down side today makes my buy-in tomorrow extra sweet!:D

Also, It's a Birchtree buying day, so get some wallflowers for your collection.

I'm stoked on my take so far this year, but I am seeing some weakness and may look to jump for a few days ....tomorrow will tell!

100% C, but my buy-ins have all been 100% S.

Have a great day!
