Man Frixxxx,
That's a really hard one - because everything is so relative and of course there is the tendency to:

1. Compare yourself to someone worse (or that appears worse)
2. Immediately think of numerous confirmations
3. Downplay - or justisy what may be off
4. Fail to recognize - or be blind to our biggest faults.

This is deep - I'm tired and have the wrong frame of mind. But to honestly answer this I'd say all of us are sick and there is not a person alive who isn't screwed up in various Ethical aspects.

I fall incredibly SHORT of the 'perfect mark' and here it is way too easy to say we try to live right, be healthy, and do the right things. Also how can we not question what is the best course when sometimes what seems 'right' maybe 'wrong' or vise versa.

Anyway - way too deep and complicated to dwell on at length but it's a good question and one we probably ask ourselve in one way or another over and over.

Well, interesting week for me,

I had 6 indicators for all longs on the dollar.....

I could care less a bout stocks right now except they are just padding my forex accounts.

I have closed 100 positions for a minimum of $6K in the last month.

I have two clients that closed out today for over $500K month.....

I am thinking of giving up my day job.....:nuts:

I will be out of TSPtalk for a few days...I have to close out my monthly charges. If Iam lucky, I'll squeeze another $10K in charges today through tomorrow.

I have 14 clients currently.

I have an automated system that I use to place positions. I used to stay up for the Japanese market to open, but got tired of it.

Two of us have worked on an MT4 platform (free to anyone) to measure conditions, plot progress and determine where to place a position.

We load this data into a file, then execute commands and code against the platform at the optimal time.

We set a goal of 1% a day and have achieved that 99.8% of the time.

We have put in some long hours and long testing and our official demo account deaths are in the thousands. We are also being approached by some hedge fund managers who have also been appraised of our performance.

I have been in computers for over 20 years and I have finally taken the tools given to me and used them to benefit me.

When I have 5+ million, I have vowed to never work again......I will resign myself to open my accounts everyday and verify deposits are being made and then commence to opening schools and doing missionary work throughout the U.S. as long as it lasts. My kids can take over the babysitting job.

I attribute my success and good fortune to the Lord almighty. Because of this, we have stipulated that all clients of ours donate 10% of all profits to a worthwhile charity. I will not perform for the banks in any way. I will only provide business to the worthwhile.

Guess what? Our biggest client just sent us their confirmation check before we asked.

But it is all talk until I can prove myself:suspicious:....I'm trying to do it and I will keep you all informed as I get closer to the goal.......I hope to get to a point where I can tell you where to invest to make this happened.....Remember, I started this over 20 months ago and I have moved accounts from U.S to foreign soil to make this work.

I have made many an enemy with this endeavor....
I also am trying to get out from under a HUGE debt I incurred getting my wife the care she has needed.
I have a ton of out-of-pocket expenses for specialists right now. If I can just get that paid off in the near future, I'll be able to focus more time toward it.

August and October, these historical months are what I need to get by now.....They crushed me last year.....There were sooo many manipulations going on in currency and I need to see if I can weather the storm. I currently have models that ride these months out with minimal lot sizes to ensure that any loss will be less painful.

Anyway, thank you....I built the platform [Virtual Machine (VMWare)] server that runs our accounts independently. I have written the formulas for converting positions into cash and mitigating loss.

Interesting how we talk and post with others, and yet don't fully share or understand each other's burdens. May the good Lord bless you, your wife, and your endeavors. I'm sure that many of us will include you in our prayers.

Frixxx, I had no idea what the implications were when you started talking about fx trading, just knew it was working for you and really absorbing your attention. Think we've seen a short term bottom in the US dollar? Trying to gauge exposure to the I-fund now since BOE and ECB are easing and printing aggressively maybe even more so than the Fed... at least that's what I heard on a quick Bloomberg report this AM. So, I guess i'm asking the resident currency expert where the dollar will go in a week, mid term and maybe even out a month -- which is anybody's guess.

I'm back....I had a death in the family......My father's mother passed away....

Sorry for being in-communicato!

I have been in a vacuum for a few weeks. But I was lurking a little when I had a few minutes on the Internet.

Been "100% C" 3-21 August 09.... I'm went to the lilly pad in preparation for September.......

I think we might be getting ready for another real estate bubble and I want to save some of my returns through that period...

I have been watching the seven sentinels (thanks Coolhand)!

FOREX - GBP/JPY has been my baby the last two months.....Its retracements on the Fib are running like clockwork......I have set my reversal points and take profit positions at the most opportune times.

Been quiet recently and for good reason. I can't discuss my FOREX trades due to a non-disclosure agreement with a new investor.

I will be free of this soon and hope to tell you all how it is going.

I have an SEC review scheduled in October.

For those who know, I am trying to do everything as legit as possible.

I wish the best of those in the market. I had to close ALOT of interests in other companies.

I do like CitiGroup at $3.75 but not $4.
