But I have a gain if 4.46 and #27 on the AutoTracker thing. I am out of IFTs until next month. I am holding 90% G fund and 5% each C and S funds.

there is a retirement forum and i have checked it out. they talk about post retirement. i will continue to follow this MB and especially the retirement forum since today is my official last day of work WOWWWWWWW!!!!! CHECK IT OUT AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK. are you retired or planning ahead?

Mine is way too simple. MACD, slo STO, the trend is your friend, 3 higher highs to get in, 3 lower lows to get out. Someone mentioned on a post several months ago about always being in the market on the first of the month. I tried that strategy at the end of September and used an IFT to get back in for October and took a pretty big hit. Just checked VXF on Stockcharts and I am getting close to making an IFT- likely AGG.

I use the defaults. MACD 11,26,9/ Slo STO 14,3. One other indicator I'm kinda liking is Williams%R. AGG just made a cross over Friday (day 1) in the SloSTO; I watch the slope on the MACD rather than a crossover - lags a bit as one of my positive confirmations for a IFT.
VXF is unnerving - sitting in the same spot for 5 days. SPX looks "ok" as it is now in new territory but not enough for me to IFT into.️Similar threads
