FedSmith web page has C fund up 39% in 1 day

Newbies,

Oh, it'd definitely real. I'm movin' to the 'G Fund' to lock in my gains.:p

And, 6% of growth per day ain't bad either.

Yep Ill take that 6% per day sittin safe in the G Fund all day any day. :toung:

In a seriousness to the OP it is NOT correct

The first day of a new year is always a test of several new issues. I had a big hassle last year - so far this year has been better.

The TSP took out the L2010 fund from their share prices and any automated programs would have had to known or their data was off. That's probably what happened to FedSmith.

C fund made .18 cents, that's all. ($15.2084 to 15.3810)

I would also note that I fund made only 2 cents, and I think that is under-reported. While Japan was closed, it should have still done better than that. I fund should do better today.

I noticed a quirk in the Autotracker. Look at #163 through #186. Heres14u is 50-50 S and I, and made .82%. Tom1tom1 is 50-50 S and I, and made .79%. There are others in between who are also 50-50 S and I, with no interfund transfers, with gains in between. Looks suspicious to me...

Usually that is because they made an IFT and their new allocation is being displayed instead of the one from yesterday, confusing.

is this related to the 10,000 folks who got their own money too early - and the `folks in charge' would `like' to have it back...??
