Exnavyew's Account Talk

Strictly FWIW:
In the video below the two 'black and white' things (to me anyway) that Tom Lee says
is that Fundstrat's number one sector pick for 2025 is financials (WITHIN THE SP500).
He also states that Bitcoin and small caps will outperform financials. Interesting.
(Assuming certain conditions which are mentioned, dovish Fed, etc.)

Yikes!!
Seems like the market treaded water all day waiting for Jerome to say something that
would cause it to stop the selling spree and they didn't hear anything they liked and so
resumed selling and with a vengeance!!??

Going to trim my exposure, just gotta decide by how much.
Congrats to anyone shorting today!

Serious Ouch!!!

Tom Lee is in another league, but we had a few perma-bulls over the years that made a career for themselves constantly calling for upside, knowing markets trend higher. And in the end, they're always right.

Ralph Alcampora was one. Bullish to the end during the dot com crash and brutal bear market. He disappeared after that.

Good league or bad league, lol. :)

2 permabull comments below.
In the Tom Lee video I did a doubletake when, around the 1:30 mark, Tom Lee
says he didn't see any 'signal' that Dec/2024 was a weak month? Say what?
I suppose he was saying that in the context of the long term market.
Further, Tom called for the SP500 to hit 7000 in the first half of 2025!?
Note: previously he made the same claim with the caveat that the SP500
would END 2025 around 6600.
A rare dose of cold water from Tom.

In the second video even permabull Jeremy Siegel suggested being cautious in 2025,
that the odds of a three-peat of 20%+ for the SP500 were slim.

Year end? It's a little late for that... New year sell off?? I'm on the lilly pad, so let 'er rip! :D

While the C and S funds closed off the highs was encouraged that there was strength at the close.
Still curious to see what Trump's actual economic policies are going to be.
Minimal exposure until that crystal ball comes more into focus.

Lots of angst out there by economists:

I like this CNBC clip. Essentially 'wait and see' what Trump actually does as per above.
