I saw a couple of posts about this in the past week, but you'd think the end of the world would be bigger news... ;)

Wrap up those loose ends: 'Rapture' movement predicts end of world on Saturday...

"The world will end at 6pm tomorrow according to the followers of an evangelical Christian minister, who claims he calculated the date and time of 'The Rapture' by adding up numbers in the Bible."


No disrespect intended toward the believers, but I'm wondering which TSP fund will do best after the end of the world?

It won't matter either way. If the rapture happens, I pray we won't be around to need it. If the rapture doesn't happen, then it's back to the double dip recession. :sick:
 
This is the third time that RAPTURE was definitely going to come. So far their record isn't very good. I'll bet my house and TSP balance it don't happen, any takers?
 
Only if you let that lovely Spanish wife go as part of the package - then I'll know you are serious.
 
With fourther ado, I bid fairwell to you all. I knew tommorow would bring much sorrow and we have to part ways in jest a few hours. Just as well, my TSP funds are going down the toilet.
 
I just hope all the kooks in the world don't believe this nonesense and go on an ALL OUT rampage tonight with the GAF attitude..and then Us normals will have to clean up the messes Sunday Morning:rolleyes::suspicious:


All my guns are locked and loaded just in case..Not for the end of the World, but for the kooks..

:) Someone just wants some free, instant publicity. No-one knows when the end will come, that is all over the Bible.

BET THE HOUSE, CAR, JOB, EVERYTHING ON A HORSE. I'LL BE UPSET IF THE EATHQUAKES START BEFORE THE END OF THE RACE, FOR GOD KNOWS THAT I'M GIVING ALL THE WINNINGS TO MY CHURCH. :o
 
I am set to go TDY sunday down to SOUTHCOM.
If it is the end someone please make sure American Airlines and Holiday Inn refunds the Gov't since I did not make the trip. That should help reduce the debt.:)
 
I truly feel sorry for these deluded folks. Tried to talk to one the other day, and they were just so angry. Not passion or fervency, just anger and arrogance. No pleading to repent, just empty warning.

I am concerned that many of these sad individuals will suffer due to the great disappointment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Disappointment as others have.

The amazing thing is that even prophetic failure does not put an end to their movements. I am sure they already have an excuse prepared like last time.

However, I do believe in the Blessed Hope of Christ's Imminent return and try to live in a way that I am prepared and ready.

And if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take... amen.
