benitocj, from October 2nd, 14 days, which are not enough data... 5 ups, 4 downs, 3 safe, 2 wrong ones... 36%, 29%, 21%, 14%... 64% correct, 21% safe, 14% wrong... It really does not matter... 4.471% for october... 69% yearly yield... ???

OK - so we don't argue as who knows or doesn't how to count, here is my work, see attachment. I went by what you had posted. See, maybe I used the wrong list of your predictions.

So, excluding your 10/22 - which was a correct prediction - you'd have 3 of 17 for SAFE and BAD.

Looks to me, one would have been better off just staying in the I fund...;)

How do you figure Dennis? I just crunched some numbers for EKs predictions, and if you were to follow him, from 10/02 you could have ended up with 4.42% return on 10/26.

The I-fund only resulted in a 1.92% growth for the same period. So, in addition to you having been exposed to stocks 100%, you would have also only made less than 50% of what you would have made doing what EK said.

Just crunch your own numbers, and see the numbers of shares go up a bit of a fraction when you switch back and forth.

I am doing the same thing - I just follow my own monkey, but if EK is going to do better than me, he's got a follower.

Well, I'm just looking at the highlighted OCT and I had the highest precentage of 2.78%..S was next highest with 1.71%...Am I reading that wrong?

Sounds like we're talking about two different things :). If you compare S with the I fund, then you're right. I thought you were comparing EK-s predictions to the I-fund.

Your numbers look good, but unless you can find a post showing where he picked the G-fund for 10/22 anywhere close to noon on 10/21, I will have to go with his selections as posted HERE, HERE, and HERE. :)

he he Budnipper,

That's exactly how I thought the cooler looked, with his black suit & hat and a Humphrey Bogart stare .... love it!!!

The "cooler" spreads bad luck

to those who are winning.

charmed855, I know and I would be myself behind the figures... Belief me it is room for improvement. I can turn on or off couple neurons... and be more agressive, increase the risk, perhaps made more profit but also expose to more loses. I prefer to play safe on the safety side... we are not playing with weather forecast nor if Boston will gain the world serie in 4 or 5 games... but real retirement money... :) Please keep your eyes on the statistics... I truly appreciated.... :)

Well, there's your problem. You were wrong 4 times; on the 3rd, 15th, 22nd, and 24th. And there have only been 18 TSP trading days between now and when you started on the 2nd. That's 22%. Again, your bar is set pretty high so I woundn't fret.

DennisFAA, with my respects... from oct 2nd to oct 26th the I fund went from 25.39 to 25.88... less that 2%... other systems give you 4% plus...
you never will get 45%, 50%, 60%, 70% by staying in the I-fund 100% of the time... ;)

Looks to me, one would have been better off just staying in the I fund...;)

Could it be that the pseudo entity Ebb system, has out lived it's usefulness and that in it's antiquated way of crunching numbers, it can't get in sync with the rapidly changing dynamics of the Market Place anymore..???

Sucks, antiquated??? I wouldn't give up just yet. The market is neurotic and the world is insane. Did you expect him to be right all the time?

DennisFAA, it is very hard for any system to be 100% correct. I can turn couple on or off neurons and be more aggressive, perhaps more risky and get better return but at the same time the error factor wil increase and we are playing with real $$$$.... I rather be on the safety side.... ;)

benitoch, your figures are correct ! :)

charmed855, let's just figure the monthly yields and let's move to November with hope to improve... The statistic will follow in place sooner or later... it just need more observations... :)

SkyPilot, 1% a week, 5% per month is not hefty... it is possible... That will give you 60% to 80% yield a year... I do not want to stick to it... I WANT TO EXCEL those figures... :) Hope you join us with faith to do so... :)

That's quite a hefty prediction... on a few days returns... Are you sure you want to stick with that? Didn't think so...

kaitlinsnana, perhaps you may get better feedback at Ebb Members' Account Talk than here. The only I can tell you is I am not subscribe to Ebb Chart...
tough I do have my highest respect for Him and His system... His daily hardwork... and disciplline... also His generosity for so long... Many of us made a lot of money... following Him... We really owe Him a lot... Don't we? :)

Sucks, antiquated??? I wouldn't give up just yet. The market is neurotic and the world is insane. Did you expect him to be right all the time?

DennisFAA, I am on G Fund now... going to I Fund Tomorrow COB 10/30/2007 see autotracker :)

Cool I can understand..Just for the hell of it..Post your IFT picks here before 12:00 EST..each day and I'll watch the master here at work...FWIW, I think you have a heart of gold and are very sincere and have a little midas touch too...;)

So in plain english, let's see your stuff daily here on this thread.

Thanks

Let's do that. You're currently at 0.82% YTD according to the autotracker. That's your record based on your autotracker IFT's. If you missed a couple transactions, don't sweat it - we all do. This is a marathon, not a sprint. The cream will rise to the top. With 69% yearly returns it won't take long. Good luck - sincerely. :)
