EnF, I, too, cannot see your pictures at work, though I can see them at home so it's probably a security setting of some sort. In any event, it would be helpful if you could provide a text version of your chart as well.

Incidently, 'nip'r, your link got me the "orange [Big Brother] screen of death" at work. I should have paid more attention to the URL before clicking on it.

That's goes ditto for me, and I know it's the security system cause I've spoke with the LAN sys administrator.

I guess your company frowns on that sort of thing. I heard the same thing from the original poster who had asked for help. I apologize if the link caused you grief. I use my home computer, so that was not a problem for me. Guess I should mind my own business, huh?

Just for the record, the URL was obtained by right-clicking ebb's original chart image and copying the URL from the properties screen. The image was a .png file, which may have been flagged by the companies security settings. I know for sure that the image file was not a security threat, was not corrupted and was virus free.

This is the same image converted to a .gif file, which might get past those company security settings. ;)

Don’t apologize, you’re trying and that’s what counts.

and I see you got it posted so we can see it, even better :D

Thanks for the comments and thanks for helping out budnipper1! So, if I'm understanding this right, security let's in the .gif extension, but not the .png (which is the one I use). I don't use the .gif anymore 'cause over time it doubles the size of the chart. Tom has issues with the server and I try to keep the size small. One solution might be if I include a link like budnipper1 did, but I'd be using the .gif file instead of the .png file. Like this link:

ebbchart030107.gif

I find that if and when the chart gets bigger, the file gets resized and ends up with text being hard to read. To see it expanded to its normal size, just put the cursor on the chart and wait for the expand icon to appear and click on that. :)

Thanks for the back up support, Oldcoin. :o I was afraid I had stirred up a hornet's nest. I just didn't anticipate the problem of some folks using their computers at work and getting popped by an ominous warning screen. I definitely didn't do it intentionally. And, thank you Ebb, for posting your charts and for being so understanding. I've learned my lesson.:D I'll take the charts in any format you wanna give 'em.

I don't think the security issue has to do with whether it is .gif or .png. You store your files on photbucket.com, so that site might be blocked by some government firewalls. I think because photobucket might have the tendency to attract questionable pictures.

Thanks, fabijo! That makes a whole lot of sense. Oh oh, the .gif link I created might give them the same warning qibovin got from work 'cause its coming from photobucket. :(

Yes, you are correct, (at least for me) it's more from where the file is originating more than just being a .gif (kinda like middle easterner getting extra screening). Anyhow I can see it now and DEEPLy appreciate Ebb for going the extra mile. For me the only time I have to make a IFT before the deadline is the 20-30 mins I have arriving before work starts being here in Alaska deadline hits at 8am local time.

Following the above rules, I'm on the I-fund for Tuesday (2 greens), Wednesday (3 greens) and Thursday (3 greens).
