I'm a sucker for large open gaps like that.. I'm going to slide a little of my G-fund holdings over to the I-fund. Could be a quick gain if Powell sticks to the script tomorrow.

Well... looks like that Gap is not as big as shown in charts in prior post. I just looked at 15 minute charts and then went back to daily charts and its no where near -3% on I fund. Weird. In any case, here are the current daily charts. This is mo betta! Looks like only the "I" fund chart was wrong... no idea how, but they corrected their site chart.

Here is a 5 minute chart on I fund. It did not drop 3% today. Latest posted chart is good.

I did jump into 30% I-fund yesterday, but I was quick put that back to the G-fund this morning before the trade deadline. The Fed policy statement suggested just one rate cut this year which may be dumping on this rally's parade. Now I am dependent on Jerome Powell to not cut today's return in half or more during the FOMC news conference.

Hello, Here are charts before cutoff. As you can see, the C fund entry was days ago but S fund is also starting to look interesting. I cannot chase C fund at this point, dang it!

I'm out of IFTs for the month so this is all talk, but I am starting to think some F-fund exposure may give an edge over the G-fund if the market continues to price in a September rate cut, chipping away at bond yields.

Hi, Thank you for birthday wishes! I have been having a great time... with Ravensfan motorcycle riding the BlueRidge Parkway, Virginia portion. Just got back yesterday! Camping the rest of the week.
