DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

There is a problem with the "S" fund "real time chart" at the bottom of the page, it doesn't update as it should. Tom said he's working on it!

Sorry, I was hoping stockcharts.com would fix that DWCPF chart, but they never did. I've changed that real time chart to the EMW Wilshire 4500, which is virtually the same index.

Thanks UQ, Nnuut, and Tom! I did look at the TSPtalk charts to see how things were going but then also looked at my Stockcharts. I usually look at one hour chart, plus daily chart before I transact but was very busy this morning and didn't view 1 hour chart!. Unfortunately, I think I must have not hit the refresh button and was viewing daily and thus only viewing up to July 5th daily. So yes, now looking at it again. S fund was not up at all today. Ugghh.. definitely a mistake....I would have exited completely. Actually contemplated complete exit on Friday, but got busy at work. I obviously need to change my decision procedure to transact early in the morning or night before! No more excuses!

Looking at charts this evening, with today's action on S fund downward, the 3EMA is very close to crossing below 5 EMA and if it does, that is a definite exit for me. Have decided to stay in another day...otherwise, an exit now uses my 2nd IFT and I'd be out of market the rest of this month.....holding 70% powder now. dang.... :irked:

uggh…. Ok... so maybe I did not observe that DWCPF was a day old yesterday, but this morning I have found out that Stockcharts is NOT updating the S fund DWCPF chart INTRADAY either. It is just not updating.. The other charts AGG, SPX, EFA are all updating every 15 minutes but not DWCPF. Not only that, but I could find no way of contacting their support team to confirm why this is going on. I assume it may have to do with something Whipsaw when he mentioned that Big Charts is no longer tracking DWCPF at all.... but apparently it still exists on Stockcharts, but not being tracked intraday. :(

ticks me off!! I am thinking to look at TradingView which Groktrade uses. I have always thought that software was very cool, lots of very nice options. Will see about doing a free trial. Take care everyone!!!! :) ...kinda hard to smile but I will....:D:D:D

FYI: Last I recall from Tradingview is that if you log into a free account: no DWCPF. So you either have to log out to view it, or upgrade to a paid account plan.

They give a 30-day free trial even on their 24.95/ month plan. So may check it out ...starting this weekend or next so I can have time to play around with it and see if I like it. But I did notice they don't give you tons of saved charts (like Stock charts), unless you pay for the Trading View $49.95 monthly plan, which I will not buy. Plus I really do like Stock charts and the number of saved charts. Will see...….:D
Oh yes, Tom thanks... I will be using Yahoo Finance Intraday for DWCPF.

Congratulations on your brilliant move to deploy sticky pants and retain your position in the S Fund. Todays pop up to green around 2:15 and the continuing rally to the close was great!

FYI: I decided to double-check ... and DWCPF is working again in Tradingview with the free plan, and while being logged in.

Not a whole lot to say... I did write a few days ago*, but have not posted lately. I feel like we are experiencing a weird Summer doldrum. But who knows, maybe it picks up some steam this week. Been contemplating an entry to C and I fund and reduction to S fund, but just not much to push me. Aren't we entering earnings season????

In any case, wishing you all the best in your investments!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

PS. Will try to force myself to look at charts later tonight. I have not yet signed up for the free month of TradingView. I have been very busy watching the 3rd season of The Punisher on Netflix! I just love that series!!! The guns, explosions, good ex-military tough guy and street justice... who could ask for more??? Really stinks that all Marvel series got cancelled on Netflix due to sale to Disney! Boo!!! Hiss!!!! :( But I am getting ready to start the next season of Stranger Things and Jessica Jones as my son comes home after finishing a Summer session! Wooo...hooo…. :)

Will likely exit my small position in S fund in the morning as the 3EMA crossed below 5EMA in all the equity funds today....that is my "last call" exit signal. Its either that, or ride it down and back up.... Not much stomach for that. So will likely Zero out the S fund and move at least 50% into F fund as it has crossed positive (Stochastic, MACDs crossed above their respective signal lines, and 3EMA crossed above 5EMA). Bollinger bands are quite constricted, so there should be a large movement in F fund...looks to go up ....we will see. Last IFT for July...ugh

Best wishes to you all and Happy Safe travels*!!!!! :D :D :D

DBA...I was thinking along those lines yesterday but still am hoping to use my second move to buy back into C and S next week. If things don't go the way we are thinking fast enough then I expect this will prolong into next month and I will join you in F next week! For those staying in C and S then GOOD LUCK!!!!

Stay cool everyone!

Gosh... this morning I am rethinking it. I may hold off on the exit, but I really should exit. Still thinkin... dang it! nothing is moving up right now... even the F fund is at <.01>% right now.

I really do not want to, but I am going to stick with the current read of the charts and "strategy". Will cross fingers and hope. Had thought about leaving the 30% in and just add to F fund, but, strategy will not allow for that. I will be out of IFTs so I will be stuck for rest of month. Okay.. I will quit crying about it, close my eyes and execute!

Best Wishes to you and everyone!!!!!! :)

PS. Last IFT of month processed, so now all i can do is exit to the G fund, if need be. 25G/75F. :)

F fund finally did go positive! Wish it was more.... It popped up this morning on the 15 minute chart. But started moving down around 2Pm. Will see how it goes tomorrow. On tge daily chart, it's looking decent ...but again will see how it opens tomorrow and how it goes this week.
